About Me

A Guide to Your Goals

Since 2000, I’ve had the privilege to work as a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in helping people cope with life transitions. I support my clients in a way that utilizes their mind, body and spirit and is unique to each client. I came into the field with my own personal experiences at a very young age. I saw first hand how neglect of your mental health not only impacts you but others around you in minor and significant ways. I pursued a career to become a mental health professional while in my undergraduate training as a young adult. I incorporate both mental health and physical health strategies into my wellness routine. It's just as important for a therapist to engage in wellness as it is for their client. I have obtained additional licenses and specializations throughout my career to serve my clients better.  If you have any questions about my methods, or would like to schedule a consultation, please get in touch today.

I maintain a very small client caseload to create a personally tailored approach for my clients. My goal is to help you and your loved ones discover INNER STRENGTH, RESOURCES, and RESOURCEFULNESS that currently resides within you. Every individual has value and worth. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand your assets, the larger system of which you are a part, and resources within yourself and the community.

My clients often report struggles with stress, anxiety and depression. I primarily work with teens, young adults and women. I often have been called upon to help with times of transtion in my client's lives, such as during times of grief, divorce, moving, etc. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will discover together the strengths that can assist you in altering current behaviors and lifestyles that no longer work for you or your family.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking and yoga. I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-250) and recently learned how to include sound healing in my practice using crystal singing bowls. I consider myself a life-long learner and constantly seek ways to apply the skills that I have learned, both personally and professionally. I enjoy collaborating with others in the educational and healthcare fields to increase awareness of mental health and wellness. I facilitate a mindfulness group for health professionals on a weekly basis, which includes therapists and indivdiuals working in the medical field.

This group is offered free of charge..
