I will move you through a guided meditation to release what no longer serves you along with 3-4 restorative postures.

About the event

In today's society, many of us experience chronic stress. Stress begins with a physiological reaction to what your mind and body perceive as a threat, which can vary from person to person. Practicing restorative yoga encourages the sympathetic nervous system to relax, allowing the parasympathetic nervous system to promote the rest necessary for health. During restorative yoga sessions, we calm and alternatively stimulate the organs, aiding in nutrient absorption and flow. We also have the opportunity to focus on the present, reducing anticipatory stress by slowing down brain wave patterns.


Ensure you have the following items ready for the session: 2-3 pillows, 2-3 blankets, a chair to elevate your legs, 2 yoga blocks (or books), a mat, an eye pillow or hand towel, and some water to drink.


We will conclude this session with sound bowls following the restorative yoga poses!
